`The sloop HOPE of Bridport, Haywood, with stone, bound to London, was driven on shore to the westward of Ramsgate Pier yesterday and sunk.' (1)

The HOPE, Hyward, of and for Bridport to London, which sunk on the main, near Ramsgate on Monday, has been got off and carried into the harbour.(2)
