Full Description

`A most tremendous gale of wind was experienced on Wednesday night...The following vessels were driven on shore near Ramsgate...CORNELIA, Mitchell, from Shields to Poole, totally lost at the back of the East Pier Head. The master and part of the crew drowned.' (1)(3)
