Full Description
Cropmarks of a possible later prehistoric or Roman double-ditched curvilinear enclosure with circuit diameters of c. 50m and 70m, located at TR 0587 4220 to the north of Quarrington Wood. The NW half is less clear with only parts of the inner circuit visible. The Outer ditch appears broader where it is visible around the SW side. The site is visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording programme.(1)
