Summary

During the Second World War explosive mines were installed west of Denstroude Farm. These were part of the anti-invasion defences of Canterbury district and formed part of a complex with an anti-tank ditch (TR 06 SE 1316) and an anti-tank gun (TR 06 SE 1317)
