`Margate, 25 Nov, 4 o'clock in the afternoon: A Spanish snow, the ST JOHN BAPTISTA, Salzedo, is ashore just above Margate, and it's thought the vessel will not be got off.' (1)
The name of the vessel has also been given in its correct Spanish form, SAN JUAN BAPTISTA.
