Full Description
Lloyd's list (no 3198 12th of September 1766) notes that: 'The Nuestra Senora do Carmo St. Joye, Capt. Leal, from Dover to St. Miguel failed the 4th inst. From thence and on the 10th put back into the said harbour, where she bulged, and is full of water, and it is thought the vessel is past repair.' (1)
