`Sheerness, March 2. Since 6 o'clock this morning, we have had a most tremendous gale from N to NNW, which has done great damage to the shipping...The PRINCE COBURG, steam vessel, from Hull for Cowes, is lost on the Isle of Sheppy; crew saved.' (1)
