Full Description

Agricultural features including field boundaries and ridge and furrow ploughing were identified during a geophysical survey at Cockering Farm, Thanington in 2017. The area of ridge and furrow ploughing measures around 160m in length and between 18-56m in width. The field boundaries are visible on OS maps and a heritage tithe map dating from 1837-1858. (1)
