Full Description
The remains of a post medieval wreck can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1946. This is one of three closely spaced wrecks on the eastern side of Colemouth Creek, north of Elphinstone Point (see also NMR 1541411 & 1541429). This wreck measured approximately 21m by 5m and was centred on TQ 8614 7429. This vessel, which is no longer visible, was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1-2)
