Summary
A possible Second World War or earlier observation tower located just above the beach opposite Grain Tower on the Isle of Grain. The tower lies immediately to the south of an electric searchlight battery (1911-1940), within a large trapezoidal barbed wire enclosure. These features were all mapped from RAF vertical photographs taken in 1942 as part of the the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
