Summary
The site of a former 19th - 20th century sheep fold recorded on historic Ordnance Survey maps (1st epoch (1879) - 2nd epoch (1898) ). The pound was located in the Grain Marshes where a small creek meets an arm of the former Pound Fleet. The pound comprised a building with a fenced off enclosure. This was site was recorded during the course of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
