Summary
The earthwork remains of two parallel banks visible in Shorne Marshes to the north-west of Beckely Hill which are probably associated with a former post medieval drainage ditch or field boundary. It is parallel to an existing ditch to the south. Both measure c. 100m. Their western ends iare cut by a later drainage ditch. These banks were mapped from Environment Agency lidar imagery taken in 2001 as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
