Summary

The faint soilmark of a possible ditch can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2011. This cut feature is situated on high ground immediately to the west of Mount Pleasant. It may represent a former post medieval field boundary. A wide band of lighter soil on the southern side may be the spread remains of a bank. This site was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
