The slight earthworks of probable post-medieval field boundary banks can be seen on lidar taken in 2007. These banks are situated to the north and north-west of Sole Street Farm. The south west - north east bank centred on TQ 7362 7133 is a continuation of a field boundary depicted on the 1867 Ordnance Survey map. The southern end meets a north west - south east aligned bank running between Sole Street Farm and Springdale Cottages A bank to the east (TQ 7368 7127) runs parallel to the south west - north east aligned bank and is aligned on a surviving field boundary. This site was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1)
