Summary
A Second World War military installation, comprising a possible searchlight battery or gun emplacement, three earth covered air raid shelters and an area of hard standing, has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The site is adjacent to, and probably associated with, Kingshill Camp (Monument 1545609) and a possible military training area (Monument 1545618).
