The slight earthworks of this probable post medieval quarry can be seen on lidar taken in 2007. These shallow remains are now incorporated in to an arable field north-east of Springdale Cottages. It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
