The earthworks of a post medieval pond can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1947. This circular pond is situated to the west of Egypt Bay. This pond, still visible in 2007, was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project
