Full Description
A post medieval sheepfold and an adjacent building are depicted on the 1872 Ordnance Survey map in Cliffe Marshes at TQ 7508 7789. This sheepfold was situated at the junction of two drainage ditches within an area of salterns (see NMR 1531926). It is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1953 but has since been demolished. It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1-2)
