Summary
The earthwork of a post medieval hollow way can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1947. This path crossed the northern side of Tower Hill to the west end of Admiralty Road, Upper Upnor and is depicted on the 1896 Ordnance Survey map. This circa 23m long hollow way is situated close to Admiralty Road. This earthwork may still survive beneath the trees shown covering the area on air photos taken in 2007. It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
