Full Description
A series of 10 undated stake-holes was excavated at Canterbury College during an evaluation in 2004. 6 were located in one trench and 4 in another. The stake-holes measured between 0.05-0.10m in diameter and 0.04-0.08m in depth. 2 of the stake-holes had rounded bases, with the other 8 having pointed bases. Other features at the site have been dated to the post-medieval period (such as pits), however, the date of the stake-holes could not be established. (1)
