Monument record TQ 92 SE 21 - Mid-17th century cottage, Solly Farm
Summary
A community archaeology project carried out between 2018 and 2019 discovered the remains of a small cottage. Assessment of the finds suggests the building, a ‘cottage residence’ was post medieval in date, with activity starting in the mid seventeenth century. Research suggests it was knocked down by the early 1940s.
