Full Description

`A collier from Sunderland, bound to Hastings, was blown to the eastward in a heavy gale on Saturday evening last, and ran ashore on Dungeness Point, where she went to pieces, and all hands perished.' (1)

`On Sunday last...The same morning, a Sunderland collier was blown from Hastings to Dungeness Point and wrecked. Crew all drowned.' (2)
