Cropmark and earthwork remains of probable medieval or post medieval field boundary ditches visible on aerial photographs in low-lying land east of the Great Bilsington Sewer between Gammon's Farm and Limberlost Farm. Traces of cultivation marks, possibly ridge and furrow can also be seen.

Full Description

Cropmark and earthwork remains of probable medieval or post medieval field boundary ditches visible on aerial photographs in low-lying land centred at TR 0643 3093 east of the Great Bilsington Sewer between Gammon's Farm and Limberlost Farm. There are slight traces of parallel cultivation ridges possibly ridge and furrow within some of the fields which may pre-date or post date the field boundaries being seen in the southern part to extend across the ditches.(1)
