Summary
The Shakespeare Hotel appears on the 1st (1862-1875), 2nd (1897-1900), 3rd (1906-1923), 4th (1929-1952) ed. OS. and modern map, In 1858 it was listed as near the railway station, and at Mill Hill in 1862. This pub is now renamed the Great Tree (2013). It was damaged in a bombing raid on 24 August 1940.
