Maritime record TQ 87 NE 1157 - Success
Summary
1707 wreck of English hulk which was scuttled as a breakwater at Sheerness, presumably having been towed from Deptford where she had been serving as a storeship since 1694. Constructed of wood, she was a sailing vessel which had been hired from 1689 to 1692 as a Fourth Rate ship of the line, indicating a mercantile origin.
