Full Description
The cropmark traces of what is believed to be a building were seen immediately adjacent to the the course of the Roman road (also visible as a fragmented cropmark) from Richborough to Canterbury. These were seen centred at TR 2171 5851 to the south of the Roman road, north of the Little Stour river. Though very fragmented and indistinct, the cropmark gives the impression of a rectilinear structure such as a building. These features were mapped from aerial photographs as part of a desk based assessment carried out by English Heritage. (1)
