Full Description

Crew saved and taken on board a Dutch pilot vessel. `Her masts, some rigging, and some small part of her cargo in the fruit way, were saved by the Folkestone cutters. One of her anchors brought in there this morning.' (1)

`A Dutch ship from Lisbon to Amsterdam, was burnt off Dungeness in the night of the 15th inst., the crew saved.' (2)

Source (1) gives the nationality of the vessel as Swedish and the position of loss as `1 or 2 leagues off Dymchurch, Dungeness'; source (2) gives the nationality of the vessel as Dutch and the position of loss as off Dungeness.
