Monument record TR 15 NW 2287 - Ramsgate Jewish Cemetery

Summary

A Jewish cemetery was opened here in 1872 and extended in 1931. The site is administered by the Spanish and Portuguese Congregation and has a mixture of Sephardi and Ashkenazi style Matzevah. The site is quite small, approximately 80m long and 60m wide with a low brick and flint wall encompassing the site. On the eastern wall is a small brick Ohel of c1862 with a double pitched slate roof.
