Full Description
A Saltern mound of Medieval date was visible as an earthwork in LIDAR Environment Agency DTM 07-DEC-2017. The mound lies adjacent to the course of the straightened Wantsum River in Wade Marsh.This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
