Full Description
A single sub-circular saltern mound of medieval date was visible as an earthwork in LIDAR Environment Agency DTM 07-DEC-2017. This feature appears as a low mound adjacent to the straightened course of the River Wantsum and was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024 (1).
