A small quantity of residual flintwork which may be assigned a Mesolithic, Neolithic or early Bronze Age date was discovered during excavations at Lanthorne Court in Broadstairs, Thanet ahead of the redevelopment of the site. The asseblage included a diagnostic Early/Middle Neolithic laurel leaf point and a core tool likely to be Mesolithic or Neolithic in date. A small quantity of blades and flakes including 11 thinning flakes can be assigned a broad Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date.
