Full Description
A military installation of Second World War date was visible as a structure in RAF/26J/UK1445 V 7199 12-SEP-1941. It comprises a Nissen hut protected by a blast wall, constructed in an orchard to provide cover, and presumably functioned as part of the Plucks Gutter defended locality. It was recorded as a demolished structure on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. The site was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
