Full Description
A weapons pit of Second World War date was visible as an earthwork on RAF/106G/UK/1131 RS 4023 17-JAN-1946. It was recorded as a demolished structure on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. It comprises a small penannular bank constructed against the south side of an earthwork flood defence bank. Its entrance is on the south side. It was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
