Full Description
A flood defence bank of possible medieval date was visible as an earthwork on RAF/106G/UK/1131 RS 4060 17-JAN-1946. It was recorded as a levelled earthwork on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. The bank measures just over 90m in length. A Second World War weapons pit was dug into the top of the bank (MKE 123820). The bank was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
