Full Description
`There were only four men on board, three of which saved their lives by the speedy assistance of the Lydd boats. The cargo was lost.' (1)
The name of the vessel may possibly be reconstructed as ZORG EN VLYT, U and V often being interchangeable at this date; ZORG EN VLYT is a reasonably common name for Dutch vessels at this period; the hoy was also commonly used by the Dutch.
