Full Description
Three dispersed perpendicular embanked field boundaries possibly of post medieval date visible as very low earthworks mapped from LIDAR Environment Agency DTM 07-DEC-2017 and fragments of ditch visible as cropmarks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 05-MAY-2018 as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. These boundaries pre-date the first edition OS map, but are likely to be post medieval in date. Fragments of similar boundaries have been recorded across the Isle of Thanet (1-2).
