Cropmark of a double-ditched rectilinear enclosure, possibly Roman or medieval in date located to the North of Wade House which is visible on aerial photographs. The site appears the northern corner and two sides (defined by two parallel ditches) at TR2635 6741, and two parallel ditches c. 65m to the south thought to define the SW side of this fragment enlcosure. Fragments of further ditch within the enclosure may be part of the same site. NB.The middle of the site is cut and obscured by the course of an extensive system of Second World War zigzag ditches defending St Nicholas at Wade (1-3).
