Full Description
At least 10 bomb craters of Second World War date were visible as cropmarks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007 and 14-APR-2015. They are visible as pale patches of earth with indistinct edges on 1940s Royal Air Force vertical aerial photographs, presumably having been filled in. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
