Full Description
Sub-rectangular settlement enclosure of Iron Age or Roman date was visible as cropmarks on HEA 33361/39 13-JUL-2017 HEA 33361/39 13-JUL-2017. The enclosure is defined by a broad ditch with convex sides and curved corners with an entrance to the NE. An inner narrow ditch, possibly of an earlier phase can be seen within the outer ditch. The outer enclosure measures 44m x 51m. The site was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (1).
