Full Description
Two weapons pits of Second World War date were visible as earthworks on RAF/106G/UK/1378 V 5087 04-APR-1946. They are positioned on the northern edge of the former chalk quarry. They were recorded as levelled earthworks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
