Full Description
The site of several rows of anti-landing post visible on US/7PH/GP/LOC286 V 5008 19-APR-1944 aerial photographs dividing up a large field to the south-east of Shuart to impede the landing of enemy aircraft, but still allowing cultivation in the field. In some cases the post were strung with wires. The post were removed following the end of the war. These were mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (1).
