Summary
The site of a former 19th - 20th century sheepfold recorded on historic (1st, 2nd and 3rd edition) Ordnance Survey maps.This site and the surrounding area has been destroyed through extensive clay quarrying for the local cement industry in the early to mid 20th century. This site was recorded during the course of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
