Full Description
Field Boundaries forming part of a fragmented field system of post-Medieval date were visible as very low earthworks in LIDAR Environment Agency DTM 07-DEC-2017. They were recorded as levelled earthworks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021.
Field boundaries are not depicted in these positions on the first edition Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 County Series map, but some are recorded on the Tithe Award map for Sarre dated 1843. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. Fragments of similar boundaries have been recorded across the Isle of Thanet. (1-3)
