Summary

Map of 1821 shows the area to be a vacant plot of land, so the building was probably erected between 1821 and 1826. The pub changed name sometime after 1883 to the "Randolf Hotel. It was demolished, sometime after 1952, when the kink in the road was straightened for the new Casino and medical centre to be built opposite.
