Full Description

Cropmarks of a ring ditch, possibly a Bronze Age round barrow visible on aerial photographs -Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021 which was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. The southern side is cut by the course of a trackway. The site lies within a the remains of a later (IA/Roman or medieval) large double-ditched rectilinear enclosure - TR26NE32 (also seen as cropmarks) (1).
