Full Description
The site of a Second World War embanked gun emplacement on the golf course at Westgate on Sea. This was visible on RAF aerial photographs -RAF/S647 V 43 06-NOV-1941. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. Site removed after the end of the war. (1-2)
