Full Description
The site of a Second World World anti-tank cubes arranged in four tight rows extending 275m along the southern side of Sea Road, Westgate-on-Sea. At the western end a group of cubes fill block the gap between the sea wall and the road, possibly to form a road block. This defence was visible on RAF aerial photographs -RAF/S647 V 46 06-NOV-1941 and was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. Removed after the end of the war.
