Full Description
The site of two adjacent Second World public semi-sunken air raid shelters in Adrian Square visible as earthen mounds elongated on RAF aerial photographs -RAF/26J/BR194 VC 10 10-JAN-1941. Now levelled and removed, these were mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. Removed after the end of the war. (1-2)
