Full Description

Earthwork banks forming part of a defended locality of Second World War date were visible as earthworks on RAF/HLA/383 RS 956 28-DEC-1941. Two parallel lengths of bank measuring about 11.6m long are oriented roughly east-west, standing to the south of a long defensive bank. The features were recorded as levelled earthworks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
