Full Description
A ring ditch forming part of a round barrow of Bronze Age date was visible as a cropmark in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015. It was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
Cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age round barrow at TR 2617 6603, one of two adjacent ring ditches 30 m in diameter and c. 20m apart which are located to the south of St Nicholas At Wade visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording programme.(2)
